Lady Gaga and beau Taylor Kinney are "absolutely smitten with one another."

The songstress and the Vampire Diaries actor have been dating since last summer.

Gaga and Taylor spend all the free time they can spare with each other.

"They are both absolutely smitten with one another," a source told British newspaper the Sun. "He thinks it's brilliant the way she hangs out with him and his pals, playing darts, at the bar, at the shooting range."

Taylor is rumoured to be on the hunt for a promise ring, a band that signifies being one step away from marriage in American tradition.

"The promise ring is the biggest sign yet that they are thinking of getting married," the source said.

"It signifies that they are in a completely monogamous relationship."

"She could soon be calling herself Mrs Gaga."

Gaga and Taylor met on the set of the promo for her track Yo and I. She also surprised with a special version of the video which included added scenes of them together for the first time.

The couple are thought to be sharing a home, with recent claims that they are looking for two properties to buy one in Pennsylvania and one in New York.

Gaga's The Born This Way Ball 110 date concert tour will kick off on April 27 in Seoul, South Korea.
