(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley are now officially divorced.

Canadian songstress Avril and Sum 41 rocker Deryck tied the knot back in July 2006, although they split last year, filing for divorce in October 2009.

The website TMZ has obtained documents filed at the Los Angeles County Superior Court showing a judgement has been entered in Avril and Derycks divorce, meaning the pair are now officially single.

Avril, 26, and Deryck, 30, had signed a prenuptial agreement, meaning they will not need to worry with spousal support.

When the pair ended their three-year marriage they cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the rupture, with Avril telling fans on her website she was moving forward on a positive note at the time.

Both Avril and Deryck have been linked romantically to new partners since their split last September. Deryck has been spotted with gorgeous model Hannah Beth Merjos, while Avril began dating television hunk Brody Jenner back in February. (C) Cover Media
