(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Leighton Meester has no problem stripping down to her underwear on set.

The American actress cannot understand why actresses attract so much attention for filming scenes in lingerie, because she thinks it is perfectly normal.

Leighton - who is best known for playing Blair Waldorf in television series Gossip Girl - has recently starred in new film Country Strong.

In the movie, which also features Gwyneth Paltrow, the actress bares all apart from her knickers and bra for one scene.

"Getting in your underwear is no big deal," she said adamantly.

The 24-year-old actress plays the role of Chiles Stanton in the film, which tells the story of a rising country-music songwriter.

When Leighton had to strip off on front of camera, instead of being nervous she was more concerned about the room temperature.

However because the set was quite warm, Leighton said the bold act of exposing her skin was actually quite easy.

"Bra and panties is just like a bathing suit. In the right environment it is pretty easy. Also, there were heaters on set. That really helped," she said. (C) Cover Media
