(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Leonardo DiCaprio is trying his best to win over Blake Lively's father, it's being reported.

The Titanic actor, 36, has been dating the Gossip Girl star for a few months and is apparently doing his best to woo her father Ernie.

Us Weekly claim that Leonardo surprised Ernie with an elaborate comic colouring book for his birthday recently.

A group had gone to Hollywood hotspot Madeo for dinner when Leonardo presented his prospective father-in-law with the gift.

"Blake's father loved it," the Italian restaurant source said.

The group included Blake's mother Elaine and Leonardo's mother Irmelin who had previously met in July and they all apparently got on well.

The insider added that Blake and Leonardo are "so smitten it's crazy".

"Leo loves that she has such a tight-knit family. I bet they get engaged in the next six months," the source said. (C) Cover Media
