(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Liam Hemsworth admires' people who win surfing titles as it's his greatest passion.

Australian actor Liam and singer Miley Cyrus have had an on/off relationship for several months. Although his amorous affairs can be a bit shaky at times, his devotion to surfing icon Kelly Slater is unwavering.

"[Kelly Slater] has won ten world surfing titles," Liam told VMan magazine. "That's definitely something to admire."

Acting is his primary occupation, but he reserves a lot of time for his second greatest passion. Surfing is an activity that Liam can't live without doing.

"I have always loved surfing," Liam said. "When I was at school that was pretty much all that mattered in my life. Most of my friends surfed so we would go before school, after school, literally whenever we could."

Liam's newest film Hunter Games, where he plays a fearless hunter named Gale, is set to be released in March 2012. (C) Cover Media
