Lifu Ishtene shoot ends

18th July 2011
'Lifu Ishtene' directed by first time director Pawan Kumar, has completed shooting finally. Shot in Bangalore for 44 days and a few days in Leh and Ladakh for song sequences, has sapped the energy of the entire team. Cameraman Shekhar Chandru had the most difficult job, canning two songs at very high altitudes with rarified oxygen.

Pawan was keen to clarify that he was not following in his mentor Yograj Bhat's footsteps and said that he used Jimmy Jip cameras only for songs. "My emphasis is on visual narrative," he said. He is happy that the film has turned out much better than expected. For now, the team is soaking in the experience of shooting in near-death like situations, as 11 people shot in 25 days there.
