(Cover) - EN Star Style - Lily Allen is launching a vintage-inspired clothing collection.
The 25-year-old pop star announced she would be taking a break from the music industry last year and venturing into the realm of fashion with her sister Sarah Owen. The siblings have successfully opened their trendy vintage boutique, called Lucy In Disguise, in the Covent Garden district of London.
Lily who fronted the 2009 Chanel Cocoon handbag campaign is set to launch a new line under the Lucy In Disguise label.
Nadia Jones, who is the long-time creative director for high street retailer Oasis, has helped Lily and sister Sarah create the new line. They have taken inspiration from vintage clothes they have picked up during their fashion venture. The collection is launching in June and will feature dresses named after significant people and places including Capone, a 30s-inspired black sequinned dress.
The collection will be stocked at Harvey Nichols in the UK, then at 70 stores internationally thereafter. It will also be sold at the Lucy in Disguise London store. The pieces are set to range from 95 to 350. (C) Cover Media
