(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan regrets putting relationships before anything else when she was younger.
The actress has endured a difficult time of late. She has spent time in rehab and jail, and only recently finished a stint under house arrest after pleading no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace.
She's now determined to get her career back on track, explaining that is what's most important to her. The star was non-committal when asked if she is currently dating, but admitted past romances have taken up too much of her time. The 25-year-old had a high-profile on/off relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson and has also dated Wilmer Valderrama.
"Not really even if there was I wouldn't tell you!" she laughed, when asked if she's in a relationship. "I'm really happy right now just putting myself first and putting work first. That's what's really important to me. I didn't do that for a very long time. When you're growing up your relationships are your main priority and I've learned I need to love myself first and foremost."
Lindsay also spoke about her period under house arrest. Although many would think the experience would be awful, she found it enjoyable.
"I actually, this may come as a shock, but I really enjoyed it actually because I was able to get a lot of work done from home. It was very nice not to have to worry about cameras being outside," she told Australian radio programme the Kyle and Jackie O Show.
Lindsay also reiterated her plan to get stuck into work as soon as possible. She's appearing in upcoming biopic Gotti: Three Generations, and hinted she has other releases in the works too.
"There are three projects which I'm going to be working on which I can't say at the moment and I don't want to jinx it because it's not signed as of right now so I have to make sure that that happens. I'm really just looking to do my community service and get as much of that done as possible so I can just be there for work," she explained. (C) Cover Media
