(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Liza Minnelli has joked she needs three men in her life including one she visits twice a week but whose name she doesn't know.
The legendary performer has been married and divorced four times, with her most recent separation from David Gest particularly acrimonious.
The 65-year-old insists her past experiences haven't put her off love, in fact they've taught her what's important when it comes to men.
"Yes [I'm dating] but I'm not telling you," she told UK talk show host Graham Norton. "When you've been through as many marriages as I have, what I've figured out is that you need to know a really wealthy older man who's terribly charming, takes you to wonderful places and pays for everything. Then you need a vital 40 or 50 year old who is crazy about what he does, and then someone whose name you don't know and you see twice a week."
Liza also reminisced about the good old days, including the time when she met late singer Elvis Presley. She bumped into him while watching a show in Los Angeles and he invited her and some pals back to his hotel room. They expected a wild party, and were amazed by what actually happened.
"A group of us, including Alice Cooper, Chubby Checker and Linda Lovelace were there and Elvis disappeared," she explained. "Then suddenly the door flies open and he's there in full [karate] dress shouting, 'Hi-Ya,' and kicking."
Liza's interview airs on the BBC tonight and X-Men: First Class star James McAvoy is also a guest. He opened up about what makes him such a fine actor, explaining he gets inspiration from many places.
One of them includes US sitcom Friends, in which Matt LeBlanc played struggling actor Joey Tribbiani.
"Generally I can [cry on cue] when I need to but every now and then I've had to get the tweezers out and do the 'Joey Tribbiani' trick," he explained. "You put your hands in your pockets and using tweezers pull out your pubic hairs."
It's not all work for James though, he also finds plenty of time to relax. When he does have a day off he enjoys nothing better than staying at home and snuggling up in front of the TV, but it's not movies he watches.
"I am addicted [to home shopping channels] I can't stop watching. I spent an hour recently watching a man wax a car," he admitted. (C) Cover Media
