LL Cool J admits that his culinary skills are "ugly".

The 44-year-old star is severely lacking when it comes to cooking.

LL loves good food, but prefers it when other people make it for him.

"Can you call [making] Cap'n Crunch [breakfast cereal] cooking?" LL joked to People magazine. "I can grill chicken if I'm on a workout mission, but beyond that, it's ugly."

LL has a seriously sweet tooth and at times can't resist the taste of a delectable doughnut.

"I had these doughnut holes when I was under the weather," he recalled. "My 11-year-old daughter [Nina] came looking for themthey were for her school tripand she berated me because I ate them all!"

Although he partakes in sugary snacks from time to time, in reality LL takes his diet and exercise regime extremely seriously. LL's NCIS: Los Angeles co-star Chris O'Donnell took advantage of this knowledge and played a prank on set.

"Chris [O'Donnell, my co-star] got the prop department to create a fake protein-shake ad that looked like I was endorsing it," LL shared. "He left it on my desk, and when I saw it, I got on the phone with lawyers!"
