Matthew McConaughey has been invited to join the organisation responsible for the prestigious Oscars ceremony.
The Magic Mike star was one of 176 people this year who received the honour to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Also on the list is Melissa McCarthy, Jonah Hill, Kerry Washington and The Help costars Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer.
The Artist's Jean Dujardin and Berenice Bejo also received the prestigious nod.
"These film professional represent some of the most talented, most passionate contributors to our industry," Academy President Tom Sherak said in a statement.
"I'm glad to recognise that by calling each of them a fellow Academy member."
Voting membership now stands at just under 6,000 and consist of the people who decide which actors and filmmakers walk away with a golden statue each award season.
