Michelle Williams has a "revolving door" of friends and family to help with her daughter.
The actress has six-year-old Matilda, who she raises alone following the death of the child's father Heath Ledger in 2008.
The star confessed she needs a lot of help to look after Matilda and balance her film career.
"The days are so long on the film set," she said in an interview with the British edition of Hello! magazine. "I really need a lot of support. Luckily we have a remarkable babysitter, who is one of the biggest blessings of my life. My mom helps a lot with Matilda and right now we have my sister staying with us too. It's sort of a revolving door of friends and relatives stepping in to help, which I'm very grateful for."
However, the pair still have a lot of fun mom and daughter days as they enjoy relaxing together.
"We do all the normal things together that everyone does with their six-year-old," she smiled. "Cooking, baking, going to park, going to the library, helping her to read, all that stuff."
The My Week with Marilyn star recently treated her daughter to a puppy.
Michelle loves to spend all her free time with her new pet.
"Oh and we've just got a dog. Matilda has been wanting a dog for a really long time now, she really deserves one and we've finally taken the plunge," she smiled. "Her name is Lucky and she's a sort of spaniel-type floppy, floppy thing. She's just a puppy and doesn't have her feet under her yet, so she splays out like a baby deer most of the day. She takes up a lot of attention and right now our lives are a lot about the dog. Training the dog, time to feed the dog, time to take the dog for a walk... It has been really great."
