Milla Jovovich would love to play Jonah Hill's onscreen love interest.

The Hollywood actress is famed for appearing in action-packed blockbusters, while Jonah is well known for comedies including   Knocked Up, Superbad and Funny People.

Milla has revealed that Jonah would be her ideal romantic partner on the big screen.

"I would do a rom-com with Jonah Hill, he is awesome, hilarious and I love him. I think we would have great chemistry," she revealed in an interview with FOX411's Pop Tarts column. "Unfortunately, I don't think it will happen. Nobody is going to hire me to do a rom-com."

Milla is currently promoting the fifth instalment in the Resident Evil film franchise; Resident Evil: Retribution.

The 36-year-old star is pushing for more attractive co-stars in the hit science-fiction films.

"I feel like there are definitely not enough hot, young female zombies. We had one in the last movie, Japanese pop star Mika Nakashima," she quipped.

"I said we had to make her super beautiful because we hadn't really seen a hot zombie, everything I thought I knew about zombies I had to throw out the window."
