Antony has always been the favourite editor of A R Murugadoss. However for his forthcoming film Thuppakki, which has Vijay in the lead role, the director has opted for Sreekar Prasad, another top editor.

Sreekar Prasad is an inevitable name in Mani Ratnam's team and he is known for his stylish and suave editing work. His addition is expected to bring more value to Thuppakki, which has already generated expectations.

While some say that there was a difference of opinion between Antony and Murugadoss following which the latter opted for a different editor, there are others who say Murugadoss wanted a fresh team for Thuppakki and hence selected Santosh Sivan for cinematography and Sreekar Prasad for editing.

Being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu on a 'big budget', Thuppakki is touted as an action adventure. Kajal Agarwal is playing Vijay's heroine in this movie. Music is by Harris Jayaraj.
