Nanditha Das back to Kollywood with Neer Paravai

Nearly after a decade, Nandita Das is to back in Kollywood. The Azhagi and Kannathil Muthamittal actress, who is popular all over India, will play a crucial role in Neer Paravai, a film being helmed by Seenu Ramasami.

Seenu Ramasami's earlier film Thenmerku Paruvakaatru won three National Awards positioning him as one of the bankable directors of Kollywood. He is now busy with Neer Paravai, which has Vishnu and Sunaina in lead roles.

'I recently met Nanditha Das in Bengaluru and narrated the story of Neer Paravai to her. Impressed with the script and her character in it, she gave a nod to be part of the project,' says Seenu Ramasami, confirming the actress' presence.

Neer Paravai, a film set in the backdrop of the lives of fishermen in southern parts of Tamil Nadu, is being produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies.
