'Nanna', which has Vikram in the lead role was supposed to be released on 3rd June. The title of the film underwent lots of changes for various reasons. The film was initially titled 'Pitha' and later on this title was changed, since someone else had registered it. Then the film was titled 'Deiva Thirumagan'. This title was changed now to'Nanna' since some of the members of Devar community objected to this title.

Vijay, after 'Madrasapattinam', has directed this film 'Deiva Thirumagal'. Vikram is donning the role of a mentally retarded person. There are two heroines in this film. One is Anushka and the other one is Amala Paul. Apart from them, Santhanam, Nasar and M S Bhaskar are starring in this film. The film which was supposed to be released on 3rd June is now postponed to 17th June
