Actor Narain is really distressed now as the actor's film 'Thambikottai' is remaining inside cans for a very long time. The film was supposed to hit screens by year end 2010, but went impossible due to bigger releases like 'Easan' and 'Manmadhan Ambu' followed by Pongal releases 'Kaavalan', 'Siruthai', 'Ilainyan' and 'Aadukalam'. The producers themselves are perplexed about the release dates due to unavailability of theatres till next month. 'Thambikottai' is the debut directorial of Ammu Ramesh and it marks a new avatar of Narain as he will appear in a mass oriented role for the first time while Poonam Bajwa stars opposite him in female lead role. Prabhu, Meena, Santhanam, MS Bhaskar, Kanja Karuppu, Manobala, Rajendran and Sangeetha are performing important characters in this movie.
