(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicole Kidman didnt tell her adopted children she was having a baby via surrogate, according to reports.

Earlier this month the Hollywood star and her country musician husband Keith Urban announced they had welcomed daughter Faith Margaret into their family on December 28. She is the biological child of both Nicole and Keith, and a sister for their two-year-old daughter Sunday Rose.

Nicole also has teenage kids Connor and Isabella with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, who she was divorced from in 2001. The children opted to live with Tom after the split, and Nicole has admitted she still wishes they lived with her.

It has now been reported the star opted not to tell Connor and Isabella they were getting a new sister until very recently, as she was worried about causing the surrogate undue stress.

Connor and Bella havent seen Faith yet and they only heard about it this week, a source told Grazia magazine recently. Nicole kept the baby secret from everyone and she felt so torn not telling them, but knew a media frenzy might jeopardise the pregnancy. Although she loves and trusts them, she was advised not to tell anyone.

Nicoles decision has not surprised those close to her, as she was secretive with everyone about Faith Margarets arrival. She and Keith had reportedly been trying for another baby since Sunday Rose was ten months old, and had begun to think their dream may never happen.

You would not believe the secrecy surrounding this pregnancy, another source told the publication. Nobody knew what was going on. It helps that they live in Nashville and Australia, because theyre about as far from the Hollywood machine as you can get. (C) Cover Media
