Anaswara Cinema of Kerala announced Rs.25000 each for four ailing personalities, including veteran music director R Rathnam, character artists – Shani Mahadevappa, Sadashiva Salian (Mumbai) and Renukaprasad.
Music director R Rathnam was discarded by his children in Chennai and is now living in Venkatramaiah's house. Venkatramaiah is an ardent fan of the music director. This was indeed a noble thought and deed by the production
