The much talked about upcoming movie ‘Heroine’, to be directed by Madhur Bhandarkar has suffered yet another setback after the music composer duo Salim-Sulaiman left the project due to a tiff with co-producer UTV Motion Pictures. As a result of which, the film is left with no music composers at the moment.

Apparently the duo made a demand of royalty for their music in the film which did not go down well with the producer UTV Motion Pictures. The production house asked for an explanation to Salim-Sulaiman for their demand.

It may be recollected that UTV and Salim Sulaiman made a successful collaboration in 2008 with the movie ‘Fashion’. However the music composer duo did not have any major hit in the recent past and hence the demand for their royalty has raised many eyebrows.

With both the parties not coming to any kind of settlement, Salim-Sulaiman decided to quit the project.

Seems like Madhur’s search doesn’t end with the lead heroine of the film…He will now have to start a fresh search for a music composer for the film.
