After 'Kalavani' and 'Kalakalappu', Vimal and Oviya will be acting together for the third time in 'Sillunu Oru Sandhippu', a romantic entertainer directed by Ravi Lallin.

There has been a buzz that both the actresses share a close friendship and sources close to the actors say personal affinity is not a reason behind Vimal and Oviya acting together for the third time.

"In 'Kalakalappu', Vimal and Oviya are not lovers. Vimal's pair was Anjali and Oviya's love interest was Mirchi Siva. As far as 'Sillunu Oru Sandippu' is concerned, its director felt that Vimal and Oviya would make a great pair and hence, he cast them together", said a source.

The film is set against a romantic backdrop of 'school relationships' and Vimal and Oviya play two school students in the movie. What happens when they meet after a few years is the crux of the story...
