Actor-director R Parthiban takes a new avatar now. He has rendered his voice for a song set to tunes by music composer Thashi for a movie titled En Peyar Kumarasamy.

The movie directed by Rathan Chandrasekar has Ram and Andhara Biswas in the lead role. Malayalm composer Thakshi is scoring the music.

Speaking about the song, the director says, 'it is a song that speaks about the pain in love. When we penned the lyrics, we thought Parthiban would be the right choice to render it. When we approached, he readily agreed'.

Produced by Thirunallal Films, En Peyar Kumarasamy is being shot in southern parts of Tamil Nadu. 'The number crooned by Parthiban will be shot in and around Kodaikanal,' informs Rathan Chandrasekar.
