(Cover) - EN Star Style - Pixie Lott thinks people who have cosmetic surgery are "silly".

The British singing sensation, who is famed for her quirky fashion choices and gorgeous looks, says people should embrace their natural aesthetic.

Pixie, who was unveiled as one of Select Model Management's most recent signings yesterday, says that succumbing to the surgeon's knife is a slippery slope.

"No way," she exclaimed when asked if she'd ever have plastic surgery. "I think people who have surgery are silly they should learn to be comfortable in their own skin. It looks weird and really obvious.

"Once you start, it's easy to get hooked, and that's never a good look. It's best to grow old gracefully."

Pixie, 20, recently unveiled shorter locks. The stunning star, who used to sport long platinum blonde tresses, says the more edgy cut is a lot more experimental than her usual "safe" style.

"My hair was so damaged from over-styling, I decided to cut it all off," she told more! magazine. "I wanted to experiment with my look a bit more anyway, so I've stepped out of my comfort zone." (C) Cover Media
