Post IPL win, SRK apologizes

28th May 2012

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was euphoric when his co-owned team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) lifted the cup at the grand finale of Indian Premiere League season 5, beating Chennai Super Kings in a nail biting match.

The win in all the possibilities was special for SRK for many reasons.

Firstly, it was the first title win for his team after 5 years of hard work, also the recent controversies and criticism in his personal as well as professional life had drained King Khan to the core.

However, the success has melted SRK's heart who apologized for his unruly behavior during his scuffle with Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials. He had then claimed that he wouldn't apologize for his scuffle, as he felt that the officials shouldn't have had manhandled the kids and he was no where wrong in opposing the act.

But, SRK surprised everyone when he apologized after the win, "I want to apologize to the kids for my misbehavior at MCA. I apologize to all who saw me differently. I shouldn't have behaved in that manner. But today my team has won, so I guess, all you fans should forgive me. We have won at last," said a witty Shah Rukh.

Now it will be interesting to see whether MCA lifts the imposed 5 year ban on SRK's entry at Wankhede.
