It has been years since Prabhu Deva played the lead role. The choreographer, who was popular for his hero roles in films such as Kadhalan and Love Birds, became a popular director later, which made him to take a break from acting.
And now, the Michael Jackson of India is back to stand in front of the camera, for a film titled 'ABCD'. The full meaning of the title 'Any Body Can Dance' and no prizes for guessing that the story is about dance.
Says Prabhu Deva, 'I am happy to act in such a meaty role. The whole film revolves around dancing and many popular personalities, including ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya, are sharing the screen space with me. It is a youthful team and I feel like a student.'
Choreographer-turned-director Remo D'Souza is making this film with UTV. A multilingual to be made in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi, the Kollywood version of this movie is expected to have the title 'Nadanam'. Remo is happy to work with Prabhu Deva.
