Prabhu Solomon had kept on trying his new fangled themes that started from the movie 'King' starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role. The film didn't perform well and so were some of his other movies. He achieved overnight success with the movie 'Mynaa' that has been acclaimed as a 2010 blockbuster. The film didn't have a big star-cast and yet won the box-office race, winning over other releases that had some A-league actors in lead roles.

Prabhu Solomon has now started working on his next project that is set in the backdrop of a forest. He is in search of an actor, who must have the looks of Superstar Rajnikanth in 'Mullum Malarum'. Meanwhile, he is all set to remake 'Mynaa' in Hindi as well. He is involved in the process of modifying the script so as to suit the tastes of Bollywood audiences.
