Young Superstar Silambarasan, is now flying high on cloud nine with the grand success of his previous movie 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya' and his recent release 'Vaanam'. The actor has now started working on many projects simultaneously. One of the projects 'Poda Podi' is almost completed, while 'Vettai Mannan' is soon going on the floors. The other film 'Vosthi', which happens to be a remake of Hindi blockbuster movie 'Dabangg', is still in the pre-production phase.

The role of Silambarasan in 'Vettai Mannan', happens to be that of an assassin, who is hired for a whopping amount. Earlier, the actor had played a similar role in the film 'Thotti Jaya'. The film 'Vettai Mannan' will have a Hollywood actress starring opposite him in the female lead role alongside a couple of other actresses. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for the film and rest of the star-cast includes Santhanam, Jai and VTV Ganesh.
