Vikram's forthcoming Tamil film Rajapattai, which was initially produced by Tollywood producer S Ramesh, has now been taken over by leading businessman Prasad V Potluri's PVP Cinemas.

According to sources, Ramesh faced some troubles in continuing with producing the movie, following which it has been acquired by PVP Cinemas.

Directed by Suseenthiran, whose Naan Mahaan Alla was recently dubbed and released in Telugu as Naa Peru Shiva, the film has Deeksha Seth as the leading lady. Veteran Tollywood director Vishwanath is playing a crucial role.

Director Suseenthiran says, "These days we read in newspapers on incidents of land grabbing and the police action on the wrong-doers. This is the basic knot of Rajapattai. Vikram has hit the gym hard and has trimmed his physique to suit the role".

Plans are on to shoot a song in Japan while a grand set was put up at Binny Mills in Chennai where the climax stunt scenes were shot, he adds.
