While Bollywood's National Award winning actress Priyanka Chopra is garnering compliments from all ends for her splendid performance in the biopic of Indian Olympic Medalist Mary Kom, she on the other end is also battling few negative remarks that are coming in her way.

There have been critics who have slammed the decision of the film's team for choosing a north Indian Priyanka to play a north-east Indian sports star wherein in their opinion, some other actress from the region or Mary herself could’ve played the role.

And now there have been detractors and gossip mongers who are comparing the earnings of PC and Mary Kom. The comparison is about how Priyanka has earned more money acting as Mary Kom than Mary Kom earned all her life being herself.

PC who has always been vocal about her feelings, strongly opposed these comments which she feels are an insult to sports stars like Mary. She stated that the comparison is unjust and completely uncalled for.

She reportedly added that for the amount of pride Mary has brought to the country, even if she is paid a billion per minute she would have been underpaid.

Hope such a fitting reply shuts the gossip mongers for good and for long.
