The shooting for this untitled film will start from May and DVV Danaiah of Universal is the producer.

The excitement is big as Kajal and Pawan come together for the first time. As for Power Star, he is known to strike immediate rapport with any actress who comes with a whiff of striking chirpiness.  Puri Jagannath does not repeat a heroine. The actress seems to have a perfect and comfortable working relationship with Puri, and this will only work in the film's favour.  Also, she would be only too eager to be cast opposite a superstar like Pawan.

Kajal is one of the few actresses in the industry who has acted with all the top stars like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Ram Charan Teja and Prabhas.  In "Cherry", she will be acting for the second time to be directed by VV Vinayak.
