All the three films were released in Sagar and went on to do roaring business and gain immense fan following.

A belief that Sagar Theatre is lucky began circulating soon after "Mungaru Male" which got released there became one of the biggest blockbusters of all the time. Producers are known to wait and release their films in this particular theatre and now, "Krishnan Marriage Story" released last week has had a fantastic opening.
