Bollywood actor- filmmaker Rakesh Roshan turns 66 today. Despite of being a son of music director Roshan, he too had to struggle to make his mark in the industry.

His started with being an assistant director for many veteran filmmakers' films and then streamlined into acting as a supporting actor. However, soon he realized his potential and donned the hat of a director. And then a league of successful films backed by his production banner Filmkraft entertained the audience.

His huge hit as a director was 'Khudgarz' in 1987.  His son Hrithik Roshan was launched by him with the movie 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai'. His lucky letter is 'K' and thus most of film titles begin with it.

Many are grateful to him for giving India their very own superhero, 'Krish' played by Hrithik.

One just can't thank this brilliant storyteller in few words. We wish him a very happy birthday and wait to watch his next work on celluloid.
