Rakshita's next stop is politics!
29th April 2011
A contemporary of Ramya, actress Rakshita after her marriage to hat-trick director Prem and the birth of her child, is busy with her first film production 'Jogaiah' which is coming to an end. She has now shown an interest in joining politics.
Rakshita entered Kannada cinema with 'Appu', a debut of power star Puneeth Rajakumar, in 2002. She was a daring heroine and very quickly became a heart-throb. At the peak of her career, she announced her marriage to director Prem.
After giving birth to a baby boy Soorya, Rakshita is busy with the post production work of Shivarajakumar's 100th film 'Jogaiah', under her hubby's direction and is waiting to join politics. She has offers from various political parties.
Rakshita and Ramya were rivals for some time but had set aside their differences by working together in Kavitha Lankesh's film 'Thananam Thananam'.
Will Rakshita join the opposition party of Ramya's Congress-I? We will know that only after the release of 'Jogiah'.
