Two of the most talked about awaited films of this year -  'Bombay Velvet' starring Ranbir Kapoor and 'P.K' starring Aamir Khan in recent times were in news as they were apparently set to clash at the box office.

Earlier, both the film were slated to release on the same day, i.e. 25th December. 

It was a big news for the fact that both were big budget films with the biggest stars of the industry. Experts stated that it was not good for the industry's business as both the films would eat into each other's business. 

Hence, after giving it a lot of thought, Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, the director of 'Bombay Velvet', decided to release the film a month before the aforementioned date.

The film will now release on November 28 instead of December 25. The decision was announced on the last date of the film's shoot which took place in Mumbai. 

Also, the release date of 'P.K' has now shifted to December 19. (Know More)
