During most part of time, Telugu films remade in other regional languages do not make high waves in other regional versions. But with 'Ready', all the regional remakes seems to have become good hits. The original version 'Ready' starring Ram and Genelia D' Souza successfully crossed 175 Days with houseful shows. Off the late, the film remade in Kannada titled as 'Ram' had Puneeth Rajkumar and Priyamani in lead characters. Of course, the results were again the same as in original version. 'Uthamaputhiran' – The Tamil remake with Dhanush in lead role had Genelia repeating her role again. Released on Diwali 2010, the film has been declared as sleeper hit and it was directed by Jawahar Mithran. Now the Hindi remake with the same title is close on the heels of completion. Featuring Salman Khan and Asin in lead roles is now scheduled to hit screens on May 28.
