Rene Zellweger fronting Hilfiger campaign

11th March 2011

(Cover) - EN Star Style - Rene Zellweger has been announced as the face of Tommy Hilfigers new charity campaign.

The American brand has close links with Breast Health International, which aims to educate people about breast cancer and promote research into the disease. It also tries to help those affected deal with their diagnosis.

Tommy Hilfiger has worked with the non-profit organisation for five years, creating pieces whose proceeds go to the company. This season a special bag has been designed, which is being shown off by Hollywood star Rene.

Because of the experiences of close friends and family members who have had to endure and battle the challenges of breast cancer, I am a passionate supporter of breast health education and charitable causes, she told Marie Claire exclusively.

I am honoured and grateful to be partnering with Tommy Hilfiger to raise awareness and funds to support the invaluable work of Breast Health International.

The photographic campaign has been shot by Alexi Lubomirski, and will be featured exclusively in glossy publication Marie Claires May edition, on sale next month.

This seasons bag is tan suede and leather, and includes a checked interior and gold accents. It will cost 275, and is available to buy from Tommy Hilfiger flagship shops, some department stores and at tommy.com from May 1. (C) Cover Media
