The stunning 41-year-old actress originally comes from a small town in the American state of Texas, and she says her humble upbringing made her wary of extravagance.

Rene prefers to use just one designer that she knows and trusts when she wants a red-carpet gown, as she would feel guilty about having too many people running around after her.

I cant have 90 people making things for me that I might not wear, she told Harpers Bazaar. To have so many people expend so much effort potentially for nothing I wouldnt sleep at night.

Whenever she wants to look elegant for a big event, Rene goes to her favourite designer and close pal Carolina Herrera, who has been helping her look perfect on the red carpet for years. Rene loves Carolines designs because they are so well-structured and chic.
