Bollywood's rising star Richa Chadda is scaling new heights in her career with each passing day.
She made her debut with 'Oye Lucky Lucky Oye' and since then has not looked back.
Her recent success has been films like 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Ram-Leela'.
After gaining accolades for her work in India, Richa is truly going international with her next. She who has shot for New York based Indian filmmaker Mira Nair's next, is excited as the same film has been scheduled to premiere at the Venice Film Festival this August.
Titled 'Words with God', the movie is part of an eight segment concept by Mexican filmmaker Guillermo Arriaga. This is Richa’s second film to get an international premiere.
"It's exciting and rewarding for any actor whose film gets selected for a film festival of international repute. I am grateful that first, with 'Gangs of Wasseypur' (2012), I got an opportunity to be part of a prestigious festival like Cannes and now it's the Venice Film Festival," said Richa.
Apart from this high, she also is rumored to be a part of yet another international film with a UK-based producer and the shooting is supposed to begin around the time of Venice film festival as well.
"I am supposed to shoot for a film through August-September, but I will try persuading my producers to reschedule the shoot dates a bit so I can travel. They are extremely accommodating, and since they are a foreign team, they realize the prestige of being associated with Words with God," she added.
