(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert Pattinson is reportedly skipping the MTV Movie Awards this weekend.
The actor is usually a firm presence at the annual ceremony, and has previously won a host of awards for his role as vampire Edward Cullen in Twilight.
However, according to e! Online, Robert will not be in attendance at this Sunday's event.
Last year the highly-successful vampire franchise dominated the winners list, picking up awards for Best Movie, Best Kiss, Best Fight and Best Female and Male performance for Robert and Kristen Stewart.
Kristen - who is also dating Robert in real life - will reportedly be gracing the awards ceremony.
Meanwhile, Charlie Sheen is set to make an appearance.
The actor will introduce a segment honouring party movies, according to the US website.
"Even though Charlie has cleaned up his act, he still has a sense of humour about his out-of-control days," a source told the publication, with a second insider adding: "It's all going to be a really big party moment."
The Hunger Games and Bridesmaids are leading the list for the MTV Movie Awards with eight nominations each.
Russell Brand will host the awards which will air on Sunday from the Gibson Amphitheatre in California. (C) Cover Media
