Robin Wright says that living in the present keeps her sane.
The actress who was previously married to Sean Penn - tries not to dwell too much on the past or think too far into the future. Robin feels emotionally happier when she appreciates each day as it comes.
"I'm really trying to be in the now that's so spiritual and stuff," she laughed to Elle magazine. "It's just so much more pleasant and sane."
Robin's latest movie roles are in Moneyball alongside Brad Pitt and the Hollywood adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
The 45-year-old actress is thrilled that her career has continued to flourish. However, making movies can be exhausting and she enjoys catching up on her sleep or reading when she is not at work.
"Sleep. Oh yeah," she replied when asked how she spends her free time. "I mean, come on. Just lying in my big bed with Frette sheets. Oh my god, there's nothing better.
"Now that my kids are out of the house I'm finally able to get to the classics I never read: Emily Bront, Dylan Thomas, Joseph Heller's Catch-22. It's endless. They're all in this gigantic pile next to my bed."
