After been paired for a comic caper 'Welcome Back', John Abraham and Shruti Haasan will be seen in action thriller 'Rocky Handsome'.

Scheduled to release on Holi in 2016, the logo of the film was out on the internet just few hours ago.

'Rocky Handsome' is loosely based on a Korean film 'The Man from Nowhere'. It's a revenge story of a man against drug mafia. Shot in Mumbai, Pune and Goa, the film is an action film with a strong emotional connect.

John has extensively trained for his role. He said, "We went to Bangkok and we trained there for over a month. I trained in different art forms. I trained in Aikido, Hapkido which involve a lot of hand-to-hand combat. I also trained in Krav Maga."

Directed by Nishikant Kamat it is co-produced by John Abraham and Sunil Kheterpal with Azure Entertainment.
