(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ryan Gosling claims that Peter O'Toole's charm puts a "spell" on women, including Ryan's own sister.

While discussing his upcoming movie Crazy, Stupid, Love with US talk show host David Letterman, Ryan revealed that Peter, the legendary Lawrence of Arabia actor, still has an incredibly powerful magnetic allure. Peter, now 78, was so enchanting at the Academy Awards in 2006 that Ryan allowed him to flirt with his sibling.

"Peter O'Toole hit on my sister," said Ryan. "He just went like this, he went come to me my beauty'. And it was kind of like Dracula summoning a lady. She was under his spell, my sister."

Ryan was under Peter's spell too. He stood there mesmerised for a few minutes until he actually realised that some coquetry was transpiring between his sister and Peter.

"He [flirted] for what I think is too long," laughed Ryan. "And then I had to say Hey Peter. Big fan. You're a legend. But you gotta get your hand off my sister.'"

Ryan is promoting comedy picture Crazy, Stupid, Love which will be released later this month in the US and tells the story of a man trying to cope with a marital crisis. (C) Cover Media
