Ryan Reynolds: Riding motorbike frees my head

11th November 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ryan Reynolds gets his thrills from motorbike riding, teasing that hes too old to do drugs.

The 34-year-old Canadian actor is one of Hollywoods most in-demand stars right now, having made a name for himself in hit movies such as The Proposal and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Ryan switches off from his hectic work life by going on long motorbike rides with one of his brothers on the open road whenever they visit Australia. The actor joked that driving fast is the best way for him to get kicks, seeing as hes too old for a rock and roll lifestyle.

"One of my brothers and I have clapped-out motorbikes on which we like to drive through Australia. The route across the sea is beautiful and you can really get your head free. Everyone has to do that from time to time and I'm too old to do drugs," he laughed in an interview with the German edition of OK! magazine.

Ryan is the youngest of four brothers, so he was never short of a companion when he wanted to get up to mischief as a child. The star is still very close to his family, and tries to go back to the Reynolds family home whenever possible.

"I am the youngest of four brothers. Maybe because of that my parents were relaxed. They let me climb every tree. Today I travel to see them as often as I can - we have a very intense relationship," he enthused. (C) Cover Media
