(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sandra Oh has admitted that she went into meltdown mode when she first arrived in the UK to film her new drama.
The actress has been filming Thorne: Scaredy Cat, a psychological crime thriller series for Sky 1, and admitted that the jet lag got to her.
The 39-year-old said that the change from filming her American drama series Greys Anatomy was a real shock to her system and she went into high stress-mode when she touched down in Britain.
I didnt! I had a total meltdown. I was literally on the floor going, I dont know what Im doing! She told British magazine Stylist when asked how she coped with the change. My driver, Simon, had to constantly pour me cups of tea, so I got over it in a very English way.
Sandra has been playing Doctor Cristina Yang in the American hospital drama for six years and has won a Golden Globe for her performance.
However she found her latest role even more mentally-exhausting, but relished the challenge.
Its a very different drama in a very different setting and probably the most challenging role Ive ever played. Its a dark, gritty psychological drama and my character is deeply flawed, she added. (C) Cover Media
