Senior actor Sathyaraj, who won huge praises for his mind-blowing performance in Vijay starrer Nanban, has done wide-variety of roles in Tamil films. Now, the veteran is ready to show his acting skills in Bollywood. Well, in his debut Hindi movie, Chennai Express, he will be reportedly seen in the role of Deepika Padukone's father.

The buzz says that it was his performance in Nanban that helped him to bag this role. Many from the Bollywood including Rohit Shetty have seen hsi performance. Rohit Shetty, who is directing Chennai Express, decided to cast Satyaraj as the role required a typical Tamil-speaking actor.

Reports say that the makers of Chennai Express are in talks with Sathyaraj and he is likely to sign the movie. Currently, he is working out with the dates. The news is expected to be official by this weekend.
