Ace filmmaker Selvaragavan wed Gitanjali Raman, daughter of former Advocate General of Tamil Nadu P S Raman, in a traditional Hindu ceremony at a hotel in Chennai, where Vedic mantras filled the air. Selva's brother Dhanush, wife Aishwarya, sons Yatra and Linga (grandsons of Superstar Rajinikanth) were at the wedding, playing perfect hosts to guests.

Gitanjali, clad in a red saree, was quite the cheerful bride, The Superstar's other son-in-law, Ashwin Ram Kumar was spotted catching up with the guests at the wedding too.

Selva is expected to recommence 'Irandam Ulagam' soon after his wedding. Suhasini, Chinni Jayanth, AM Rathinam, Prabhu, Ram Kumar, Mani Ratnam, and Aravind Samy were present at the wedding.

The couple will host a grand reception for friends and peers in the film industry later on Monday evening, at the Mayor Ramanathan Chettiyar Hall, at MRC Nagar, in Chennai. This was Selva's second marriage. Earlier he had tied the knot to actress Sonia Agarwal in 2006.
