13th February 2012

Even as the Tamil film industry has come to a standstill due to the ongoing tussle between the TFPC and the FEFSI, it seems directors are using the chance to work on their projects - ongoing and new.

Some are also hunting for locations in which they can shoot once the strike is called off. Among those doing so are directors Selvaraghavan and Vijay.

According to sources, 'While Selva, his producer and cameraman Ramji took off Brazil, Vijay has taken off to the US. Selva has completed the first schedule of his bilingual "Erandam Ulagam", and he was supposed to start work on the next schedule soon.

Since the industry is on a strike now, he has decided to use this break to finalise the foreign locations. Vijay had plans of going to the US for the next schedule of "Thaandavam".

Now, he is said to be looking out for locations. Moreover, A R Murugadoss and Santosh Sivan are contemplating working on a short film while the strike endures.
