The film ‘Mausam’s release must have been postponed by a week’s time but the enthusiasm of the director of the film, Pankaj Kapoor is on all time high. Pankaj Kapoor who marks his debut as a director with this one is confident of his film that is led by his son Shahid Kapoor. At the launch of film’s first look, Pankaj had stated that Shahid has given his best performance in the film. And now he has confessed that he was thoroughly impressed by Shahid’s commitment towards the film that took two years to complete.

Throughout the making of the film the father-son duo’s personal as well as professional bonds touched the peak. Pankaj recently confirmed that he was quite impressed by Shahid’s creative inputs that he gave throughout the making of the film. He says he has better understanding of the commercial aspects of the film and one day he could definitely make a good director.

But as of now he would like Shahid to concentrate on his acting career for more 10 years.
