Shahid Kapoor, who was appreciated for his role as Hamlet in 'Haider' has become a huge fan of Shakespeare's work.

Instead of returning to India, post a hectic schedule of 'Shandaar', the actor visited British Museum to have a look at the original copy of the first edition of 'Hamlet'.

The museum officials had kept the copy in one of their section called Quotro for display and thus the actor made a quick trip to the museum to get a glimpse of it.

Shahid was awarded at People Choice Awards at the Rome Film Festival few weeks ago for the same.
