While the whole nation was in a celebratory mood on October 11, 2016 on the occasion of Dusshera, it came as a bad news for Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her family as her father Surendra Shetty passed away.

According to a source, Mr. Shetty suffered a massive heart attack in the afternoon after which he was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital where he was announced dead.

His last rites will be conducted on Wednesday morning at their residence. He is survived by his wife Sunanda Shetty and daughters Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Shamita Shetty.
